NIA College was established as a strategic sister institution to Macmillan Medical Training College (MMTC) to provide specialized training in Business, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Digital Skills, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technologies. While MMTC focuses primarily on health sciences, healthcare professions and allied technical programs, NIA College serves as the dedicated hub for business, technology and innovation education.

Both institutions operate under the same visionary leadership, governance framework, quality assurance systems and management structure. NIA College is currently hosted within the Macmillan Medical Training College Nairobi Campus at Valley View, providing students with access to a vibrant academic environment, established support services, modern facilities and an ecosystem that promotes interdisciplinary learning and innovation.
